Blue Iris Adult Foster Care is committed to providing and supporting stable home placements for adults with disabilities and chronic illnesses.
Our mission is to enable our clients to remain a vital part of the community.
Blue Iris Foster Care is a MassHealth funded program that supports clients. Clients are placed in the homes of qualified foster families. In some instances, a client’s own family member can become the caregiver.
Our professional staff includes nurses and care managers. We regularly visit foster homes and are available 24 hours for emergencies.

Safe, stable, and caring living for adults with disabilities.
OUR CLIENTS
Our clients are adults with chronic disabilities and daily personal care needs who are unable to live safely alone. Their impairments range from mild to severe. Our clients live in the private homes of caregivers and have the support of professional staff.
TO QUALIFY FOR SERVICES:
Clients must be at least 16 years of age and have a diagnosed disability with a daily personal care need.
Care services are paid for by MassHealth. Clients are responsible for room and board costs.

OUR CAREGIVERS
Our caregivers are special people who welcome adults with disabilities into their homes. They are supported by professional staff and trained to meet the individual personal care needs of our clients.
Blue Iris Adult Foster Care carefully matches clients with caregivers to ensure compatibility. Caregivers are reimbursed for personal care services.
